I just love a good mural! And when it comes to my hometown, Memphis has some of the coolest murals around. I had the opportunity to photograph my beautiful friend and rockstar trainer, CaCera!
CaCera is one busy gal! She not only works a 9-to-5 job, but she also juggles her time volunteering with Girls on the Run, co-managing a fitness blog called FitWithFinesse.com AND teaching fitness classes at ZenStudio and F45 Training.
As a blogger, creating fresh content is always on the top of my to-do list. CaCera shares the same priorities and was in need of some new photos for her blog and social media sites.
On a beautiful Sunday morning, we set out to find some colorful murals in The Edge District.
She makes "jump for joy" look too easy, right?! This Memphis Mural is by Anthony D. Lee.
Pink is always a perfect background color. This pink mural and the colorful mural in the second photo are by Birdcap.
This public art installation is by Cat Peña, and it's totally worth the visit to The Edge!
After our session at The Edge District, we decided to drive Downtown. This powerful mural was appropriate that morning. It just so happened to be International Woman's Day!
: SHE SPOKE HER MIND Mural is located on the side of Cornelia Crenshaw Memorial Library (531 Vance Ave., Memphis, TN 38126).
Check out more photos from the shoot here or click on the photo below (these links will take you to my portfolio page).
Enjoy friends!
