New Orleans Bachelorette Trip - Breslin

Ok ladies now let's get in formation. Forewarning: I'm about to drop so many Beyoncé lyrics in this blog post - sorry (I ain't sorry).

Oooo NOLA! I don't think New Orleans was ready for all the HEAT that these girls brought to the bayou! But most of all, we got to celebrate our Bride to Be - our one and only Queen B - Breslin! I'm so blessed to have known this amazing woman for the past four years... and it was a beautiful time spent with her and the rest of the B-hive! After months of planning, the girls and I had a fun-filled agenda for our Bride to Be! And if you haven't guessed it yet, it was Beyoncé Lemonade themed!

I went back to my crafty Sprinkle Creative roots and made these Beyoncé inspired Feyoncé t-shirts using my Silhouette Portrait Cutting Machine. Interested in making your own t-shirt? Check out my DIY tutorial from a previous blog post here.

Disco ball drinkware, Beyoncé inspired cookies, yellow sunglasses, personalized flasks and shot glasses galore! We were ready to live it up in NOLA!

I also created the "QUEEN B FOUND HER MAIN SQUEEZE" banner and lemon paper cutouts using my Silhouette Portrait Cutting Machine. Gotta love the Lemonade theme!

Here's a behind-the-scenes look on how I created this!

Sooo I had a backdrop malfunction overnight and had to improvise -- metallic gold table cover for the win! Now for a mini photoshoot!

Beads on beads on BEADS! This cutie is ready to PARTY!

And now introducing the Queen B's Hive! Starting from the top left, we have:

  • "FEYONCE" Breslin

  • "I WOKE UP LIKE THIS" Arah

  • "SURFBORAD" Felicia

  • "CRAZY IN LOVE" Alexis

  • "FRESHER THAN YOU" Lauren

  • "I WOKE UP LIKE THIS" Morgan

  • Girl behind the lens AKA "FLAWLESS" Stephanie

Here's a little peek into how I created these fun t-shirts!

Next stop: Bourbon Street! Let the Bachelorette Scavenger Hunt begin! The girls were divided into two teams, and Alexis was gracious to come up with the list while I created the flyer! It made for some really fun photos and

And we spotted another bride! It's shot time!

Yall, I was born in New Orleans and moved away at a young age. And the one thing I always wanted to witness was a Second Line on Bourbon. These photos will live in my mind rent free.

And that's a wrap on Bourbon Street! At the end, we all know who the real winner of the scavenger hunt was. Haha!

Later that night, we had some amazing Louisiana Catering by Chef Corwin, owner of Flamceaux.

His precious daughter had a hand in the festivities, too! The food was amazing and consisted of fried catfish, crawfish macaroni, seafood past, Flamceaux gumbo, mixed veggies and more! We were eating good!

Here's another DIY project! This blinged out jean jacket was created with some fine gemstones and sequin patches!

And to wrap up our final day, we had blocked off some time to have a Bachelorette Photo Shoot! We all wore sequin Mardi-Gras dresses and had the Bride-to-Be in a sequin white dress. I also brought my fancy green tulle robe and DIYed the Beyoncé fedora hat with white fabric paint, white glitter and Modge Podge!

Always stay gracious, best revenge is your paper.

Shout out to Breslin and the B-hive for an amazing time in New Orleans! Congratulations, Breslin! We can't wait to celebrate your big day with you and Tarvin!

Oh hey! Planning a Bachelor/Bachelorette party and need those fun moments captured?

Thanks for reading and shine on!

Stephanie
